While playing Call of Duty 5 World at War on the XBox 360 last night I noticed that one of the gamers on the enemy team was taking advantage of a by now well known glitch on the Japanese based level MAKIN. Well, The video you see here is his response (translate)

I’ve finally decided to give twitter a try. I recently spotted an ad on a website for Zinc (a tool for creating standalone software from Flash content) and was actually kind of surprised to see that they were still around since the release of AIR which does essentially the same things and works with existing software (Zinc’s price tag is $849.99). In discussing a possible caching solution at work a suggestion was made to use a secondary database (on the same server) to store some key application data. It’s not really important to describe why we wanted to do this, suffice to say that my concern was if and when the application would need to perform [...] (translate)

Tim sent around a link to the VisionMobile report on open source technology in the mobile space, which I really enjoyed. It covers not just the software used at different layers in the stack, it also covers licensing and governance models. Strongly recommended.... (translate)
